I may not be the right therapist for you and that is O.K., that is why we meet and see if we are a right fit for each other. I am familiar with the community I work in and would like to the opportunity to assist you.

The type of therapist I am: I listen thoroughly and think about you in your situation. I am concerned with you and your family members. I am also open and honest. I will never pretend to know how you are feeling because even if I have been in your situation, we are affected differently. I am here to assist, guide, and provide support.

How long does a session last?
A session usually lasts 50 minutes.
Does anyone else know I am in therapy?

Only who you want to know. Before I speak with anyone, I will obtain a release from you that allows me to speak about your case. Examples of people I may want to speak with include your primary care doctor, a school teacher, or a school counselor.
